Cedric Bouchard "Roses de Jeanne Les Ursules" Blanc de Noirs 2012

94 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(12/2016) "The 2012 Blanc de Noirs Les Ursules is another knockout. Here it is the freshness and energy of Pinot Noir that makes the strongest impression. White orchard fruit, flowers, white pepper and mint give the Ursules its distinctly high-toned personality. The interplay between the richness of the Pinot Noir and inherent tension that characterizes all of these wines is dazzling. Scents of orchard fruit, spice, herb and flowers infuse the creamy, voluptuous layered finish. Disgorged: April 2016. No dosage."

Bollinger "007 Spectre Limited Edition" Brut Champagne 2009

92 Wine Advocate
(3/2016) "Bollinger's 2009 Millésime Edition Limitée 007 has a very clear, fine and fruity bouquet that reflects a perfect blend of Grands Crus dressed with Pinot Noir (68%) and Chardonnay (32%). Fermented in small used barrels and disgorged in February 2014, the 2009 is very elegant, intense and balanced on the palate; it reveals a remarkable finesse with fine pearls and sweet cherry-flavored fruit. Its finish is well structured and quite powerful and fruity, though it keeps the elegant style."

Cedric Bouchard "Roses de Jeanne La Boloree" Blanc de Blancs 2012

96+ Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(12/2016) "The highlight in this range, the 2012 Blanc de Blancs La Bolorée is a wine that will make readers weak at the knees. Deceptively medium in body, the Bolorée opens up in the glass to reveal exceptional depth, power and intensity. Historically, the Bolorée has needed a few years in bottle after release to show at its best. I expect that to be the case here as well. There is real thrust to the white orchard fruit, citrus, slate and floral notes, but readers need to be patient. The heady, explosive finish hints at a very bright future. La Bolorée, Bouchard's old-vine Pinot Blanc, is one of the hardest wines anywhere in the world to track down. Those fortunate enough to find it are in for a real treat. Disgorged: April 2016. No dosage."

92 Wine & Spirits
95 Wine Spectator
(12/15/2014) "Highly aromatic, with mulling spices and dried tea rose notes lacing pureed blackberry and plum pie flavors, this is vibrant and refined. A bright version that remains light-footed despite a rich, expansive profile. Candied kumquat, licorice snap and salted almond hints linger on the long finish. Drink now through 2029."

Vilmart et Cie "Coeur de Cuvee" Brut 2008

95 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
95+ Wine Advocate
(6/2016) "The 2008 Coeur de Cuvée Premier Cru Brut is a blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir from 55-years-old vines, whose must comes from the coeur de cuvée, so the very best part of the pressing. This 2008 was disgorged in March 2015 with eight grams per liter. The wine opens with intense and ripe, highly elegant and Chardonnay-driven fruit with intense lemon, hazelnut and chalk flavors. It's rich and elegant on the palate, very firm and mineral, with great length, complexity and a string of mineral expression. This wine has great, great ageing potential. So beautifully fresh and mineral, so firm, fresh and elegant. Great finesse and complexity, this Champagne is very long and full of tension and finesse."

Cedric Bouchard "Roses de Jeanne Presle" Blanc de Noirs 2012

95 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(12/2016) "The 2012 Blanc de Noirs Presle is another superb wine from Cédric Bouchard. Ample, creamy and layered, the 2012 possesses exceptional balance from start to finish. Intense red stone fruit, mineral, kirsch, wild flowers, smoke, slate and herbs are some of the many notes that give the 2012 its distinctive personality. All the elements are in the right place. In terms of its feel, the Presle is the creamiest and most overtly Pinot-driven Champagne in the range. In a word: magnificent! Disgorged: April 2016. No dosage."

Veuve Clicquot "La Grande Dame" Brut Champagne 2006

94 James Suckling
94 Wine Enthusiast
94 Wine Spectator
94 Wine Advocate
(6/29/2016) "The prestigious 2006 La Grande Dame is made from 47% Chardonnay and 53% Pinot Noir, and assembles the fruit of eight grand cru villages. Very intense and complex on the nose, this is a full-bodied, round, rich and mouth-filling, but also refined prestige cuvée; it reveals a fascinating purity, precision and freshness. The finish is long and complex, and shows a spicy minerality. There are coffee beans, bread and toast aromas in the aftertaste. This comes highly recommended."
