Selbach Oster Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese 2012

92+ Our Score
92+ Wine Advocate
(2/2015) "As the dry wine, the sweet 8.5% alcohol 2012 Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese is more delicate and subtle on the nose compared to the relative of the Schlossberg. Picked eight days earlier than the latter, the Sonnenuhr is very sweet on the palate as well, but reveals more finesse and raciness, more Spiel and elegance. It is a stimulating and mineral-flavored wine, which I would not serve (or drink) before 2025."

Hofgut Falkenstein "Niedermenniger Herrenberg" Mosel Riesling Spatlese 2015

92 Our Score
(11/2016) This off-dry Riesling from the much-lauded 2015 vintage is complex delicious and extremely youthful. The wonderful sweetness is tempered by an electric tooth-stinging acidity. Flavors of ripe lime and red and green apple are enhanced by extremely high minerality and a very dense texture that goes on and on. Even 10 days after opening, our sample bottle was still going strong! An excellent bottle of Mosel Riesling.

Julien Haart "1.000L"Mosel Riesling 2015

89+ John Gilman
(3/2016) "The lovely "1,000 Liters" bottling, which is made in a single, fifty year-old fuder, finished off at 10.5 percent alcohol and carries fifteen grams per liter of residual sugar this year to balance its formidable, ripe acidity. This is really a lovely wine, offering up lovely balance and filigree and the potential to age quite gracefully. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a mix of green apple, pink grapefruit, slate, a touch of wild yeasts and a topnote of orange peel. On the palate the wine is fullish, bright and shows nice generosity on the attack, with a good core, ripe acids and fine length and grip on the bouncy finish. Really a fine entry level bottling. (Drink between 2016-2030)"

Rebenhof "Von Wurzelechten Reben" Urziger Wurzgarten Riesling Trocken 2014

90+ Our Score
(2/2016) Wurzgarten, which translates to "Spice Garden" is one of Germany's most famous vineyard sites. This bone dry Riesling impressed us at importer Peter Weygandt's tasting this past fall, revealing layers of fresh citrus, red apple, jasmine and red slate minerals. Lively, long and delicious, this is a perfect wine for those that love dry whites like Sancerre.

Selbach "Incline" Mosel Riesling 2014

A perfect match for your Thanksgiving meal!
89 Our Score
(10/2015) You'll not find a better Mosel Riesling anywhere near this price. With just a hint of sweetness, the great Johannes Selbach has once again created a perfect introduction to the often misunderstood, steep-sloped Rieslings of the Mosel region with "Incline." Taut green apple and citrus fruits, steely minerality and a charming bit of sweet are well balanced and delicious. Well done Johannes!
