Domaine du Gros Nore Bandol Rose 2015

91 Wine Advocate
91 Vinous, Josh Raynolds
(6/2016) "Bright orange. Aromas of pungent red berries, cherry pit and blood orange, joined by a slowly emerging minerally element. Sappy and penetrating, offering spice-tinged raspberry, orange zest and succulent herb flavors that deepen and spread out with air. Smoothly plays richness off vivacity and finishes long and gently sweet, displaying a repeating mineral note and a hint of candied rose."

Domaine du Gros Nore Bandol Rouge 2012

Wine #94 - Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of 2015!
93 Wine Spectator
(10/15/2015) "This has a dark leathery frame but remains sleek and pure overall, with a dense core of currant preserves, steeped plum and lightly mulled blackberry fruit, studded with dried anise and singed juniper notes. A bolt of iron is buried deeply on the finish. Best from 2017 through 2025. 420 cases imported."

Domaine Le Galantin Bandol Rose 2015

What is better than a delicious bottle of rose on a nice day? How about a magnum!
89 Our Score
(4/2017) This delicious bottling from Domaine Le Galantin comes from Bandol, the premier appellation for rose production in Provence. Winemaker Celine Pascale took over winemaking duties from her father who started the winery and continues to practice organic farming methods and traditional production. It is a refreshing blend of Mourvedre, Grenache, and Cinsault that brings a light appearance but packs a punch. A generous palate shows zippy blood orange, juicy red berries and candied fruits while finishing crisp and dry. Pop this on the patio with a dozen oysters and some friends!

Chateau La Mascaronne "Quat 'saisons" Cotes de Provence Rose 2016

90+ Our Score
(5/2017) The 2015 vintage of this wine was one of our absolute favorite Roses last year, and this 2016 bottling is just as good, if not better, showing a bit more top note tension. Blending Cinsault and Carignan from certified organically grown vineyards in the Cotes de Provence, La Mascaronne offers everything one could ask for in a bottle of Rose: delicious red fruit flavors, suggestions of herbs, minerality, a wonderfully rich mouthfeel, and lively, mouthwatering acidity to balance all the elements. Very well done!

Mas de Gourgonnier "Les Baux de Provence" Rouge 2014

89 Our Score
(12/2016) The original "natural" wine, Mas de Gourgonnier was growing certified organic grapes long before it was fashionable. Blending Grenache and Syrah with Cabernet Sauvignon and Carignan, this medium-bodied effort gives a bright freshness that causes the glass to be emptied quickly, while the gritty briskness suggests pot roast or lamb sausages might be a welcome partner. Solid as always!

Domaine de Bagnol Cassis Blanc 2012

New low price! Regular Vin Chicago retail - $21.99!
90 Our Score
(5/2017) - An amazing close-out opportunity! This wine blends 51% Marsanne with 31% Clairette and 18% Ugni Blanc and hails from the Provence appellation of Cassis, a majestic village whose vineyards literally touch the Mediterranean. Rhone like and slightly closed initially, the wine magically opens three days later, similar to how a mature Chateauneuf-du-Pape Blanc might behave. Honeyed, with white peach, grapefruit and melon, with hints of sea spray and marcona almond. A wonderfully unique bottling that grately benefits from oxygen! Decant it for two-three days - trust us!
