Patrick Bottex "La Cueille" Bugey-Cerdon Methode Ancestrale Rose NV

90 Our Score
(8/2014) This completely unique wine come from the Savoie region of Eastern France, specifically from the Cru of Bugey, within the zone of Cerdon. The wine is unique because of it's style, color, alcohol, sweetness, production style and grapes used - Phew! It's a semi-sparkling, low alcohol, slightly sweet, deep-pink hued blend of of 90% Gamay and 10% Poulsard. The hand-harvested, sustainably farmed grapes ferment halfway before being bottled, meaning there is still some primary sugar left in the wine. The wine continues fermenting in the bottle for a few months, producing CO2. The wine is then corked with no further adjustments made. Voila! Complete fun and deliciousness! Drink up, anytime, anywhere.

Domaine Jean Masson "Vieilles Vignes" Apremont Vin de Savoie 2014

90 Our Score
(5/2016) Located in the French Alps, Apremont is a Cru village in the wine region of Savoie. The grape variety is Jacquere, which produces dry, light-to-medium-bodied wines with high acidity and a uniquely crisp and stony character. The 2014 Jean Masson, from 80-100 year old vines, is absolutely terrific juice with a floral, apple and mineral-laden flavor that will leave you salivating and yearning for another sip!

Domaine Combelle Savoie Blanc 2015

90 Our Score
(5/2016) "Made from 100% Jacquere, from the mountainous Savoie region of Apremont, Combelle is the label from third generation vigneron Christophe Richel. This salty, citrus-infused, mineral driven wine tastes like a Gruner Veltliner crossed with a Muscadet. It is dense in the mouth, as many Alpine wines can be. Try it with roast chicken, summer salads or spicy fish tacos!
