Dolde Wurttemburg Riesling Spatlese Trocken 2015

90 Our Score
88 Wine Advocate
(6/2016) "I have known Helmut Dolde for ten years now and although I have not tasted his excellent wines every year, he is one of my favorite wine producers in all of Germany. He has a very small winery in Linsenhofen, which is located in the unsung Schwäbische Alb in Württemberg. From two hectares of vines, there is not a single wine in his pretty rich portfolio that I find boring or not at least very interesting and extremely stimulating, even when it comes to Kerner. The 2015 Riesling vom Jurakalk opens with a very clear and aromatic bouquet; this leads to a pretty dry, pure, piquant and elegant, well-structured and medium-bodied palate. There is a good though not very long finish. Very good tension. Drink: 2016 - 2024."

Beurer Kernen- Stetten Riesling Trocken 2015

90 Our Score
(12/2016) A true farmer at heart, Jochen Beurer places great emphasis on his meticulous farming practices, and is now certified biodynamic by Demeter. Beurer's Trocken bottling comes from several of his lower elevation vineyards. This Riesling is bone-dry, and displays a bit more weight and texture than the previous vintage. The nose and palate radiate fresh lime blossoms, lime zest and a crunchy sea salt component that leaves you salivating and itching for another sip. Swabia is truly great again.

Beurer "Weiss" White Blend 2015

90 Our Score
(1/2017) Jochen's "Weiss" bottling is a random mélange of aromatic grapes, a field blend for all intents and purposes. It is a blend of Muller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Muscat, Sauvignon Blanc and a few unnamed additions. Aromatically intense, it lends an impression of sweetness on the nose but the palate is searingly dry and crisp, with loads of minerality. A daily drinker on Jochen's table, and once you taste it you'll understand why.

La Boutanche Riesling 2016 1.0 LT

89 Our Score
(5/2017) The latest release in Selection Massale's "Boutanche" line is this liter bottling of bone dry German Riesling from Andy Knauss. We completely fell for this playful, but very soul satisfying bottle, filled with lime blossoms, cruncy green apples and tangy minerality. This is great juice to drink all summer long. Quite simply, chill it and chug it!
