Talley Estate Bottled Arroyo Grande Valley Pinot Noir 2010

90 Wine Advocate
92 International Wine Cellar
"(90% of this fruit came from the Rincon vineyard): Vivid red. Heady, exotic bouquet evokes candied red fruits, potpourri and spicecake, with a mineral topnote. Fresh, penetrating raspberry and bitter cherry flavors show impressive clarity and put on weight with air. Fine-grained tannins give shape to the finish, which leaves sweet red berry and rose pastille notes behind. This must be the best version of this bottling I've yet tasted from Talley."

Talley Vineyards Arroyo Grande Estate Chardonnay 2013

A serious Chard from one of our favorite producers. $27 at the winery, less from us!

(7/16/2015) "Another medium-bodied, Burgundian-style effort is the 2013 Chardonnay Estate Arroyo Grande Valley. Seeing nine months in 15% new French oak, it has classic apple blossom, white peach and citrus aromas and flavors, medium-bodied richness and a vibrant, clean and classy style. Coming from a blend of Rincon, Rosemary and Monte Sereno Vineyards, it's a no-brainer purchase and will drink nicely for 4-5 years."

Field Recordings "Old Potrero" Arroyo Grande Zinfandel 2014

90 Our Score
(2/2016) For the 2014 vintage, Field Recordings' Andrew Jones has stepped things up a notch or two, sourcing this Zinfandel from a higher tier of fruit from the dry farmed Old Potrero vineyard in Arroyo Grande. The result is a big wine with jammy, yummy Zin flavors of blackberry, fig, blueberry, fresh turned earth and sweet wood notes. Grab a bottle, get some BBQ and settle in for indulgence!
