Wente "Riva Ranch" Arroyo Seco Pinot Noir 2012

90+ Our Score
(3/2015) The Wente family name is synonymous with California grapes - they even have a Chardonnay clone named after them! This Pinot Noir comes from their vineyard in the Monterey sub-region of Arroyo Secco. Showing beautifully on the nose and palate, it offers lively fruit tones of wild strawberry and black cherry, toasty oak and a silky mouth texture. Pour in a big, open glass and pair with grilled salmon!
