Andre Clouet Millesime Brut 2008

92 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(5/2013) "Clouet's 2008 Brut Millesime shows quite a bit more tension and focus than the 2007, hardly a surprise given then personality of the vintage. Bright, saline notes frame expressive red fruits, flowers and sweet spices. The 2008 Brut is a gorgeous wine with plenty of appeal today, but it will also develop beautifully in bottle. Stylistically it is less overt than the 2007 but places more emphasis on length. Brut Millesime is mostly Pinot, with 30-40% Chardonnay."

Andre Clouet Millesime Brut 2004

92 Wine Advocate
(11/2012) "The 2004 Brut Millesime is 100% Pinot Noir done entirely in steel. A focused, vibrant wine, the 2004 impresses for its sheer energy and cut. The breadth of the Pinot comes through on a finish laced with sweet red berries, crushed flowers and stones. This is a gorgeous wine from Clouet. Dosage was around 7-8 grams per liter. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019."

Pierre Paillard "Acte 1" Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne NV

92 Vinous, Josh Raynolds

(11/2015) Disgorged April of 2014. Though this is officially a ?Non-Vintage? Champagne, it actually comes entirely from 2009. It comes from the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, best known for its Pinot Noir and Pink wines, but this unique Blanc de Blancs is worth talking about! Sourced from a single vineyard called ?Les Motellettes?, planted in 1961, this wine is minerally with high acidity and a long, toasty, citrus and orchard fruit driven finish. Excellent.

(12/2015) "The Paillards blend this wine from chardonnay (70 percent) and pinot noir (30 percent); the color comes from Bouzy rouge (six percent of the overall blend) from 45-year-old vines. That also lends the wine an essence of red fruit, gentle scents of raspberries and strawberries that last. As succulent, creamy and cushioned as this wine may be, it has clarity and drive."

Pierre Paillard "Les Terres Roses" Grand Cru Extra Brut Rose Champagne NV

93+ Our Score
Offering a complete and true Grand Cru experience, this is a deliciously dry blend of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir based on the 2012 vintage. In the glass it displays a deep pink color, revealing vibrant, fine beads that stream quickly to the top of the rim. Aromas and flavors of fresh red berries, red flowers, talc and chalk-infused minerality lead the way, with a pillowy elegance rounding out the finish on this bold and seductively forward dry Champagne.
