Domaine Lafage "Miraflors" Cotes du Roussillon Rose 2016

90 Our Score
91 Wine Advocate
(4/28/2017) "Light in color, yet not in flavor, the 2016 Côtes du Roussillon Miraflors Rose (60% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 10% Carignan) offers terrific notes of white cherries, strawberries and rose petals in a medium-bodied, layered, impeccably balanced style that's just hard to resist. It doesn't have the chiseled feel of the Grande Cuvee, but it offers just as much pleasure."

Domaine Lafage "Miraflors" Cotes du Roussillon Rose 2015

(3/2016) This brand new 2015 arrival is very bright, boasting ripe - yet taut - red berry flavors of cranberry and wild strawberry along with a slight hint of candied watermelon. In the mouth, it is rich and generous with a briskness that all good young Rosé should exhibit. Drinking great already, it will only get better as the temp heats up. Drink now with early spring soups and chicken dishes or, as the weather warms, with everything - especially if you're outside!

Domaine Lafage "Cuvee Centenaire" Cotes du Roussillon Blanc 2015

Silky and pure, this massively over-delivering white is back! For maximum enjoyment, splash in a decanter at least half an hour before serving.

(3/26/2016) "The 2015 Cotes du Roussillon Centenaire is a racy, medium-bodied blend of mostly Grenache Blanc (and Gris), with 20% Roussanne. Crushed rocks, mint, lime and citrus blossom are some of the nuances here, and it hits the palate with medium-bodied richness, beautiful purity of fruit and a clean, dry finish. It's certainly an outstanding white to enjoy over the coming 2-3 years."

Domaine Lafage "Tessellae - Old Vines" Cotes du Roussillon Rouge 2014

90 Wine Advocate
(7/22/2015) "A stunning bargain from Lafage is the 2014 Tessellae Old Vines, a blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre, all aged in concrete. Much of it comes from 70-year-old vines planted in limestone and clay soils. A delicious, dense ruby wine with notes of red and black cherries, earth, spice, pepper and a touch of Provençal garrigue. Fresh vibrant acidity is also present, and the wine is uncomplicated, but rich, fleshy and very well balanced. Drink it over the next 2-3 years."
