Henri Bourgeois "La Cote des Monts Damnes" Sancerre 2015

92 Wine Advocate
(10/28/2016) "The 2015 Sancerre La Côte des Monts Damnés has a deep, intense and smoky nose with a strong lemon perfume. Full-bodied, round and elegant, with a vital but refined acidity, this is a pretty lush, aromatic and charming Monts Damnés, but its finish is long and complex and reveals a very nice phenolic grip, finesse and tension. The 2015 is excellent already today, but will gain further complexity over the years. Nice bitter grapefruit aromas in the aftertaste. Drink Date: 2016 - 2026."

Laporte "Le Rochoy" Sancerre 2014

90 Our Score
(4/2016) A beautiful, exotic Sancerre here with an upfront dose of flinty minerality along with aromas of citrus and passion fruit. Ripe and fresh on the palate with the citrus flavors and green apple coming through. Great balance of fruit, mineral and acidity, and a long, generous finish.

Domaine Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre 2015

91 Our Score
(9/2016) Like the label on the bottle, the Hippolyte Reverdy Sancerre is classic in style. 2015 was a ripe vintage, resulting in fleshy grapefruit, red apple and peach notes in addition to the traditional flavors, minerality and acidity. Imported by Kermit Lynch, this is a great Sancerre.

Domaine du Pre Semele Sancerre 2015

90 Our Score
90 Wine Spectator
(11/30/2016) "Savory, thyme and chive flower flavors hold sway here, with light lemon pith and gooseberry notes following behind. The tangy, taut finish lets an herb detail linger longest. Drink now through 2019. 400 cases imported."

Domaine Paul Cherrier Sancerre Rouge 2013

90 Our Score
(10/2015) Looking for a quality French Pinot Noir? Sancerre is unlikely to be the first region that comes to your mind but this excellent Pinot Noir from Paul Cherrier may just change your thinking. Small yielding vines make for a nicely concentrated wine with bright flavors of wild berries and strawberry. The flavors expand on the palate to includes a wonderful combination of mineral and berries. Finishes with subtle tannins and good acidity. Real French PInot Noir for a VERY fair price.

Domaine Paul Cherrier Sancerre 2014

90 Our Score
(11/2015) Classic Sancerre aromas of citrus and flint. Lime and passionfruit come through on the palate. Such a fresh finish with racy acidity, mineral and structure. Given the small harvest of 2014 Sancerre this is an amazing value at $20.

90 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(6/2016) "Light, bright orange. Highly fragrant, mineral-accented red berry and pit fruit aromas, along with suggestions of honeysuckle and dusty minerals. Shows very good focus and depth on the palate, offering juicy raspberry, nectarine and floral pastille flavors that spread out slowly on the back half. Plenty rich, but this wine comes off as nicely energetic. The floral note repeats on the long, focused finish."
