Cayuse "God Only Knows" Armada Vineyard Walla Walla Valley Grenache 2013

94 Wine Advocate
(6/2016) "Grenache seemed to handle the heat nicely in 2013 and the 2013 Grenache God Only Knows Armada Vineyard offers a gorgeous, rich, almost masculine style (especially when it's tasted next to the No Girls Grenache) in its dark fruits, crushed herbs, mineral and leather scented profile. Even showing a touch of game with time in the glass, this beauty has fine tannin, plenty of fruit and a great finish, all suggesting it will drink nicely for another decade."

A Tribute to Grace "Besson Vineyard" Santa Clara County Grenache 2014

92 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(9/2016) "Another gorgeous, expressive wine, the 2014 Grenache Besson Vineyard has a palpable sense of boldness to it, within the context of Angela Osborne's style, of course. The flavors are deep, dark and bold, with plenty of old-vine intensity that these head-trained vines planted in 1910 confer."

Clos i Terrasses "Laurel" Priorat 2014

95 Wine Advocate
(10/28/2016) "I was really blown away by the aromatics of the 2014 Laurel. As soon as I put my nose in the glass I was transported to the vineyards of Gratallops, with a blast of wild herbs and flowers followed by a stream of smoked meat, juicy red currants and raspberries. It is mostly Garnacha but with some 10% each Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are cooled down during the night and in the morning some are destemmed, and some others are left with the stems on and fermented mostly with indigenous yeasts. The élevage here is one year in a combination of used oak barrels, oak vats, cement and amphorae. They have increased the volume of wine being raised in amphorae in this 2014. This might very well be the finest Laurel to date. Simply stunning!"

A Tribute to Grace Santa Barbara Highlands Grenache 2014

90 Vinous, Antonio Galloni
(9/2016) "The 2014 Grenache Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard is one of the most lifted and perfumed wines in Angela Osborne's lineup, although of course, all the wines are aromatic in style. Dried leaves, tobacco, wild flowers and spices waft from the glass in a delicate, nuanced Grenache. Eccentric in style, the 2014 is not as varietally as some of the other wines in the range, but instead provides plenty of insights into Osborne's deeply personal style. The 2014 was done with about 2/3rds whole clusters and aged predominantly in neutral oak."

K Vintners "The Boy" Walla Walla Valley Grenache 2012

94 Wine Advocate
(6/2015) "Coming mostly from the River Rock Vineyard located in the southern Part of Walla Walla, the 2012 The Boy is a sensational Grenache that has overflowing notes of strawberry, kirsch, licorice and ground pepper. Semi-translucent ruby in color, this full-bodied, layered, elegant, yet sweetly fruited beauty will continue to impress through 2022."

Domaine Gilles Troullier "L'Espirit du Temps" Cotes Catalanes Rouge 2013

94 Wine Advocate
(4/2015) "Checking in as 100% Grenache, the downright sexy 2013 Côtes Catalanes l'Esprit du Temps has full-bodied richness and depth to go with rock-star notes of black raspberry, crushed violets and hints of pepper. It has a serious amount of texture, yet stays light, elegant and pure. It too will have a decade or more of longevity."

A Tribute to Grace Santa Barbara County Grenache 2014

90 Our Score
(8/2016) Angela Osborn's Santa Barbara County bottling is a 100% Grenache from three different sites in the region, all farmed organically. The 2014 growing season was a bit hot in these areas, resulting in a fuller, more fruit forward wine than in previous vintages. The end result however is still delicious. The win spent 17 months in neutral French Oak. Notes of ripe black plum and black cherry are complemented by notes of anise, fennel and undertones of wild flowers. Decant for at least an hour or two, and pair with hearty grilled fair to get the best result.

Comando G Las Bruja de Rozas 2014

92 Vinous, Josh Raynolds
(12/2015) "(aged for five months in foudres and 500-liter French oak casks): Brilliant ruby-red. Heady red berry liqueur and lavender pastille scents are complemented by deeper suggestions of cola and cherry pit, with a zesty mineral quality adding focus. Sweet and energetic on the palate, offering spice-tinged raspberry and cherry liqueur flavors plus a touch of rhubarb. Silky tannins add gentle grip to a very long, red fruit-driven finish, which leaves a note of five-spice powder behind. Drink: 2019 - 2025."

A Tribute to Grace "Hofer Ranch" Cucamonga Valley Grenache 2014

Winemakers Notes
"This vineyard represents the second expression in what I call the Grandfather series. Vineyards harking back to days of olde, where vines were planted in their most natural form: own-rooted, head-trained, wide enough spacing to easily pick into wooden boxesand organic since day dot. Hofer Ranch was planted in the pre-Prohibition days when Cucamonga Valley was a bastion of grape farming. "It took a lot of acres to raise a family" says current steward Paul Hofer, whose Grandfather planted the vineyard. It was 960 acres in its heyday, and now just 6 acres remain. Planted in sand, a root structure 35 feet deep, surrounded by ancient Eucalyptus and Pink Peppercorn trees; this is one of the most remarkable vineyards I have ever seen. Abutting the Ontario Airport 50% whole-cluster fermentation, aged in neutral barrique for 17 months. Bottled in flint to highlight the incredible shade of ruby these old vines produce."
