Thurston Wolfe "Zephyr Ridge Vineyard" Horse Heaven Hills Petite Sirah 2013

90 Our Score
(4/2017) A top-notch Petite Sirah here with wonderful extraction, depth of fruit and balance. A full 22 months in French and American oak has resulted in complex aromas of vanilla, baking spice and cedar to go with the varietal's classic black cherry and pepper flavors. Richly flavored, totally delicious and priced right.

90 Wine Advocate
(12/2014) "The 2012 Petite Sirah Estate, a long-time speciality of this winery, is a beautifully made wine displaying pure blueberry and black raspberry fruit as well as hints of camphor, incense and white flowers. Full-bodied with civilized tannins, an incremental, lush, full-bodied mouthfeel, and a long finish, it is approachable now, but will keep 10-15, possibly 20 years."

Michael David "Petite Petit" Lodi Petite Sirah/Petit Verdot 2014

92 Wine Enthusiast
(12/31/2016) "The blend of sweet-seeming oak and bold, ripe fruit flavors is irresistible in this big and satisfying wine. The aromas are like vanilla, chocolate and black pepper, while flavors bring on blackberry jam, espresso and dark chocolate for volume and complexity on the palate."
