91 Our Score
(8/2016) This estate bottled wine is a candidate for best Rosé of the season. Made mostly from Cinsault, with small amounts of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre, it offers authentic strawberry and mineral flavors along with a classic, yet mouth-filling texture that caresses the palate. This property has been owned since 1999 by Tom Bove, who's been making Rosé in Provence since 1993 when he purchased Chateau Miraval, which he has since sold to Brad and Angelina.

Domaine de la Mordoree Cotes-du-Rhone Rose 2015

91 Wine Advocate
(5/2016) "Another terrific Rosé, the 2015 Cotes du Rhone Rose la Dame Rousse is similar to the Tavel la Dame Rousse, yet is slightly more fresh and focused. Wild strawberries, citrus, mineral and underbrush all emerge from this layered, elegant, gorgeously balanced Rosé that has the freshness to stand on its own, yet the richness and complexity to go perfectly at the dinner table. Drink it over the coming year or so."

Domaine de Blais Cotes du Provence Rose 2015

90 Our Score
(6/2016) "A delicious, classically styled Côtes de Provence rosé, Domaine de Blaïs skillfully blends Grenache with Cinsault, Carignan and Syrah grown in sandy soil near Vidauban in the Var zone of Provence. Wild strawberry, pomegranate and just opened lillac flavors are zesty and tasty, making for a perfect Sunday afternoon glass, perhaps with some smoked trout and olives? We love Rosé!!

Chateau de Manissy "La Belle Etoile" Rose 2015

88+ Our Score
(5/2016) Chateau de Manissy is known for their flagship rose bottlings from the famous Tavel appellation in the Rhone Valley. Their winemaker, Florian Andre, learned to make great rose while working under the late, great Christophe Delorme of Domaine de la Mordoree. This value-driven rose is a classic Rhone blend of 60% Grenache with equal parts Cinsault and Syrah. It offers up a beautiful pale salmon color with classic Rhone aromas and flavors of garrigue (green herbs), minerality, dried strawberry and cherry skin. The wine is soft, light to medium bodied, dry and completely refreshing!
