2019 Triennes "Saint Auguste" Rouge

Thanks to a change in local distribution, we offer this delicious Provence red for what looks to be the very best price in the country!
We wish we had double the quantity as this certified organic blend of 65% Syrah and 35% Cabernet Sauvignon is really showing great. Full-bodied, with dark and rich flavors of plum, blackberry, forest floor, and rocky minerals, it’s a layered wine with plenty to discover. Texturally, it is soft and structured with medium-plus tannins, a sophisticated mouthfeel and an overall drinking experience that suggests a notably more expensive price tag.
Drinking like a Gigondas crossed with a left bank Medoc Bordeaux, this is a solid 91-Points on our scale. It’s drinking great now and will continue to do so for the coming 3 to 5 years. We don't feature Provence reds very often, and this bottling makes us want to rethink that. What a cool wine!

2023 Arnot-Roberts Rosé

The team of Duncan Arnot and Nathan Roberts, aka Arnot-Roberts, have consistently been a staff and customer favorite producer of “new California” wines. These guys make seriously delicious Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet, but today we’re talking about their delicious 2023 dry pink wine.
This wine blends 71% Touriga Nacional with 15% Trincadeira, 11% Grenache and 3% Tinta Cao - grapes more commonly found in Portugal than the US - but finding special vineyards growing uncommon grapes is one of the things these guys do so very well.
Despite the unusual assemblage, this drinks like a classic Provence Rosé, with taut red berry fruits, subtle herbs and floral notes complemented by crunchy minerals and a rich texture. Earning 91 points from our tasting team, this wine is super yummy. It is especially versatile at the dinner table and will be flipping FANTASTIC on the Thanksgiving table!
