A true rarity, this is the first time in ages that Turley's Sauvignon Blanc has made it to Illinois. When we learned it was coming, we grabbed a sample bottle and were totally knocked over. This is rich. This is bright. This is plush. This is the most downright delicious and delightful California Sauvignon Blanc we have tasted in years!
Crafted from Turley's head-trained, dry-farmed, hand-harvested, certified-organic estate Sauvignon Blanc vines, the fruit was fermented and aged in four types of vessels: concrete egg, stainless tank, French tonneaux and French barrique. The result is a plush, smile-inducing charmer
Zingy citrus and crisp green apple overtones are complemented by gorgeous minerality and white florals. The palate is sublimely textured, resulting in a wine with charm, sophistication, and balance that is beyond reproach.
