Impactful and inviting from the moment the cork is popped, the 2022 Silencieux has a luscious attack of fruit, a beautifully enduring finish and the soft, silky tannins that are a Kirk Venge signature.
Silky and plump, it opens with plush notes of cassis, leather, singed vanilla bean, cocoa powder, blueberry jam, and kirsch. Oxygen exposure lures out further complexity with cinnamon, roasted plum compote, cardamom, toffee, rosemary, macerated red apple skins, and Chantilly cream.
