The Rare Kelley Fox White that Shouldn't Be Here!

Kelley made a mere 96 cases of this irresistible Oregon Albariño and planned to sell it all out of the winery. While it wasn't on the price list, our clever (sneaky?) distributor added a few cases to their order. Kelley replied, calling them "cheeky," but went ahead and shipped the wine.
The fruit for this beauty comes from the Kraemer family owned Hotel Vineyard. The grapes are whole-cluster pressed, then fermented and aged in stainless steel. The result is a deep, fresh and captivating wine.
A waft of citrus-laced ocean breeze met us from the glass, followed by a tasting voyage featuring citrus and tropical fruits, an almost-hidden note of fresh basil, and a wisp of saltiness that carries through to the finish. Awarding scores of 93 Points, the Vinous and Dunnuck reviews really nail it...
"Perfumed and spicy in the glass, the 2025 Albariño blends sour melon with lime and minty herbs on the nose. It is soft and round on the palate, with a pretty inner sweetness and exotic floral and citrus tones. A tropical twang lights up the senses through the finish as hints of young kiwi fade. The 2025 possesses amazing balance and is a lot of fun to taste. Drinking window: 2026 - 2029.”
