What is Uncorking for a Cause? 
Uncorking for a Cause is Vin Chicago’s annual community benefit weekend. Make a purchase in-store or online and you can direct 10% to the participating charity of your choice! The event is a great way to show support for your community and kick off your holiday season by giving back while stocking up!

When is the event? 
The event runs from Friday, November 7th through Sunday, November 9th. We're open from 10 to 7pm on Friday, 9 to 6pm on Saturday, and 11 to 5pm on Sunday. Or, you can participate online at vinchicago.com 24 hours a day!

Which Non-Profits are participating? 
So far we have 65 organizations signed up to participate.

How do I sign my non-profit up to participate? 
Use this form to register your group. Please include your 501c3 paperwork with the form. 

How do my purchases turn into donations? 
10% of your purchase will be donated to the participating non-profit of your choice. For example, if you spend $100, the non-profit of your choice will receive a $10 donation. 

How do I indicate which non-profit I want my purchases to support?
When shopping in-store, tell us at checkout which organization you’d like to support. When shopping online, simply put the name of the organization in the comments box at check out. 

Can I give to multiple non-profits? 
One transaction cannot be split between two non-profits. You can, however, make multiple purchases and designate a different organization for each purchase. 

What purchases count towards eligible donations? 
Any and all purchases made between November 7th and 9th are eligible - wine, beer, spirits, event tickets, and gift cards! 
 
Do my Yellow Button orders placed between Nov. 7th - 9th qualify? 
Yes! Just like any other online order, all you need to do is indicate in the order comments which organization you would like to support. 

When will I know how much was raised for my organization? 
We will total up the purchases indicating each organization in the week following the event then reach out to the organization contact to whom a check will be mailed.
