(5/2024) It's likely the deepest, darkest, most intense Sancerre Rouge we've ever encountered. This ripe vintage may be a sign of more things to come. This one is special - a stirring, layered, complete French Pinot Noir - if slightly more forward and brawny than Burgundy. For those who like Burgundy with impact, this is one to try. It shocked our tasters. It feels luxurious with some new barrel to its profile. Open bottles stay riveting for days and will drink well through the end of this decade.
