(4/2024) Deeper in color than the Sancerre Rouge of yesteryear, this 2019 bottling is savory and brooding, with black cherry, wild game, sauvage herbs, black currant, mushroom and white rock minerals giving a lifted edge. The medium tannins, mineral-themed acidity, and mouthfilling density of this five-year-old Pinot Noir reminded us of a 1er Cru Pommard. Drinking incredible, try this impressive Pinot with duck breast or grilled salmon, or pour a glass blind to your Burgundy friends. We think they'll love it!
