(8/2025) We've been anxiously awaiting the new vintage of this tremendous sparkler from Hungary, and this latest release absolutely delivers! This blend of approximately 70% Furmint and 30% Harslevelu comes from the Tokaji region of Hungary, but it is dry and delicious with mouth-watering acidity. This is much akin to a sparkling Chenin Blanc (the family also owns the famed Domaine Huet in the Loire Valley) and orange blossom, marzipan, and freshly picked Golden Delicious apple abound here. Excellent now, this is also a wine for anyone interested in aging sparkling wine--a 2015 that we recently tried was a stunner!
