What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91+ Points
(1/2022) This yesteryear Cab is a serious throwback. Wearing no fat across a muscley frame, if opening soon you'll want: big decanter, big meat, big glasses. A medley of black cherry, red plum, cranberry and blackberry is lifted with cirtrus peel before a wave of toasty cedar, and faint herbal notes join in. The medium-intensity tannin and good acidity carry this wine through an apetizing next sip. Only 13.5% ABV! We're big fans of the food-friendly less confected nature of Steve Matthiasson's Napa wines.

(3/31/2022) Aromas of black and ripe red fruit, rose petals and crushed herbs. Medium-bodied with silky tannins. Linear and balanced on the palate. Fine-tuned intensity, too. Delicious. Wonderfully approachable now, but can definitely age, too. Drink or hold.
