(10/2023) Crafted from 50-year-old vines in an ultra-steep single vineyard, this standout red is medium-ruby in the glass with more opacity than most Bourgogne wines. The concentrated aromas offer sweet cherry and strawberry preserves, orange tea, thyme, white cocoa, cremini mushroom and white rock minerals. This yummy Pinot shows medium tannin and medium-plus acidity, finishing long and opening further with time in the glass. This Burgundy is great now, especially with roast chicken, and will drink beautifully for the next 5-7 years.
