What We Think
Vin Chicago: 92+ Points
This single vineyard, tiny production Cab immediately reveals gorgeous dark fruit aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry along with some Bordeaux-esque notes of pencil lead, earth and cedar. Very approachable, you can certainly enjoy it now and it does open and evolve with some air allowing the tannins to soften further. However this is a wine that could also be laid down for a few years without any problem and it will be interesting to see how it develops over a few more years. This really is a wonderful example of Washington cab showing great depth, structure and length at a price which offers incredible value.
