(12/2024) Operating out of a 17th century castle in the southern Burgundy region of Côte Chalonnaise, Château de Cary Potet is run by siblings Xavier and Arnaud Desfontaines. This dry white, from a small organically farmed parcel within the Premier Cru "Les Jardins" vineyard, is lithe and plump simultaneously. Ripe tones of lemon creme, baked pear and white peach, with mineral lift and subtle baking spices give this Chardonnay the soul of a Puligny-Montrachet, with a Chalonnaise price. Yummy!
