(7/2026) Their 2023 Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Blanc comes from 40 to 45 year old vines in a tiny 1.11 hectare vineyard tucked away in the hills above the Cotes de Nuits and it checks all the boxes for balanced, pure, fresh and clean white Burgundy deliciousness.The hand harvested grapes are fermented and aged for 12 months in oak barrels with gentle stirring of the lees. After a few minutes in the glass, a complex nose reveals itself with a mix of fresh green apple, yellow pear, lemon creme, dried white flowers, wet stone, hazelnut and a drop of butterscotch. The texture is round and creamy, while lively acidity keeps things bright and energetic on the medium bodied palate. As much fun as it is to sip on its own, it'll be even more amazing paired with butter poached lobster or a creamy chicken pasta with toasted pine nuts.
