(10/2026) We were surprised to learn that 4th generation vigneron Alexandra Pascal, mayor of Puligny-Montrachet, also makes a small amount of Meursault. And hot damn, this is Burgundy at its yummiest. Opening rather discretely, it just takes a bit of oxygen exposure in-glass to really crank up the amplitude on this fine Côte de Beaune. Once there, it's a nearly full-bodied affair full of macademia oil, preserved lemon, toasted hazelnut, poached yellow apple and a good current of limestone energy. Good value for this vaunted village.
