Ripe, but with a breezy edge as damson plum and bitter cherry notes glide through, laced with underlying mineral and floral details. Light kiss of toast on the finish. Grenache and Syrah. Drink now through 2023. (6/9/2022) Unwooded, the 2020 Original Chenin Blanc begins with a bright, classic and expressive nose with elements of apple and quince paste, lime candy, yellow apples, pineapple and hints of wax melon. Medium-bodied, the wine bursts with bright acidity on the palate—making it perfect for fresh seafood, salads and hard cheeses—before somersaulting to a long, lingering finish with a kiss of phenolic bitterness. Bravo, this is delicious. Drink Date: 2021 - 2030.
