What Critics Think
Vinous - Neal Martin : 93 Points
(12/2021) The 2019 Sérilhan is very perfumed on the nose, offering a mixture of red and black fruit, light marine influences, a distant tang of kelp, and touches of white pepper coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with finely chiseled tannins. There is plenty of freshness and vitality in this Saint-Estèphe, which fans out with breezy confidence on the finish. Excellent. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2048.

(1/2022) The 2019 Sérilhan is perhaps not quite as exuberant as it was en primeur, but it has acquired greater nuance since I tasted it two years ago. Dried herbs, leather, tobacco, menthol, licorice, spice and menthol are all laced together. Imposing tannins need a few years to soften, but that should not be an issue in time. All the 2019 needs is a bit of patience. After a few hours, it really shines. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2039.

(12/28/2021) Attractive aromas of currants and black cherries. Fresh flowers, too. Medium-bodied with round, lightly chewy tannins and a spicy and nicely flavorful finish. 60% cabernet sauvignon and 40% merlot. Drink after 2023.
