(9/29/2022) I never tasted an aligote with depth and complexity like this before! Complex nose with beeswax and marzipan aromas, plus touches of candied angelica and fresh sage. Stunning concentration and lots of energy, the mineral freshness balancing the creaminess beautifully. Very long crushed-stone finish that's silky smooth. From the highest altitude vineyard in Montagny, planted in 1945. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
