(6/2023) Vigneron Olivier Villaneuva ran a small viticulture business before taking over his family's Languedoc proerty. Olivier must know what he's doing, as former clients include famed Bordeaux personalites Michel Rolland and Bernard Magrez! Located in the La Liquiere zone of Faugeres, Olivier crafts his Insoumis rouge from a blend of 35% Cinsault, 25% Carignan, 20% Grenache and 20% Syrah. Dense and with power, yet lifted and friendly, this dark red fruited wine gives savory notes of roasted herbs, olive and game, though it is primarily about the fresh fruit and drinkability.
