Vin Chicago: 90 Points
(11/2025) Yannick Paquet used the ripe 2023 harvest to craft a fleshy, rich and quite delicious white Burgundy value from his estate vineyards in Fuissé! Pouring a medium-straw color, this jumps from the glass with aromas of yellow flowers, yellow apples, pears and round river stone minerality. The expansive palate brings orchard fruits and mineral tones leading to a rich texture, finishing with chalk, heft and subtle acidity. The kind of classic sub-$20 Bourgogne Blanc that we used to sell by the truckload, but that has been nearly impossible to find in recent years!
