(1/31/2024) The 2021 Chardonnay Witness Protection comes from Bien Nacido and Spanish Springs vineyards and was matured for 18 months in 65% new French oak. It has inviting scents of Meyer lemon, yellow apples, meringue, gravel dust and citrus blossoms. The light-bodied palate has a concentrated core of fruit framed by juicy acidity and a touch of textural grip, and it has a long, honey-nut finish. 297 cases were made. Drink 2024 - 2034.
