(7/4/2022) Golden hue with aromas of oranges, chamomile, pineapple and salted lemons. Tangy and fresh with hints of tannin texture. Zesty and crunchy. Delicious finish. Mostly trebbiano with malvasia and ansonica, co-fermented with skin contact. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink now. (6/22/2023) This is a blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia Bianca and Ansonica planted in the same vineyard rows. The Ampeleia 2021 Bianco di Ampeleia (a certified organic and Demeter biodynamic wine) will appeal to those who love a more artisanal, natural wine style with aromas that come directly from the grape skins. You taste orange peel, butterscotch and candied fruit. The wine sports a medium texture and shows a muted copperish color. The alcohol content is a low 10.5%. Drink Date: 2022 - 2026.

(8/2023) The 2021 Bianco is a field blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia Bianca and Ansonica, co-fermented, with some skin contact. The result is a potent, structured white for the dinner table. Hints of tangerine peel, almond, dried flowers and chamomile lend nuance. I would give this a few hours of air to allow some of the aromatics' funkiness to blow off. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2028.
