(7/23/2026) The Ettore Germano 2022 Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba is a dark, rich expression with aromas of black fruit, dried cherry, pencil shavings and dark smoke. The warm vintage brings added structure and volume, qualities that are immediately apparent in the glass. Fermented with 20 to 30 days of skin contact and aged for two years in large oak casks followed by another year in bottle, the wine remains faithful to the muscular character of Serralunga d'Alba. There is a moment of leanness across the mid-palate that reins in the wine's otherwise generous profile. Production is 15,000 bottles. Drink Date: 2026 - 2038.
