(3/18/2025) The 2022 Palistorti Di Valgiano is from young vines and is made with 70% Sangiovese and 15% each Syrah and Merlot. Displaying a saturated magenta color, the nose reveals a layered and lightly rustic feel, with notes of savory wild herbs, turned earth, plum, violets, and saddle leather. Full-bodied, it has a ripe mid-palate, a refreshing spine of acidity, crunchy, fresh, ripe fruit, and refined tannins. It’s a gorgeous wine with a lot of personality to drink over the coming 10-12 years. Maturity: 2025 - 2037.
