(11/2023) The famed Vallana winery has been in the same family since 1787! Located in the mountainous Alto Piemonte, the sixth generation still makes wines the old, from the same grape grown in Barolo to the south, Nebbiolo. This dry pink wine gives leads with savory red fruited density, meandering between tangy red berry aromas and flavors, light floral notes joined by hints of olive, sage, green tobacco and sandalwood. Soft and food-friendly, with a plump mouthfeel, this Italian Rosato gives Nebbiolo tannin gusto and finishes with a crisp mouthfeel.
