(5/2023) Wow! This decadent, unctuous dessert white is made from 100% Orange Muscat. Like Vin Santo, the Alpianae is a Passito wine, meaning the grapes are dried before pressing, in this case, for four months! This process concentrates the sugars and adds a fantastic level of complexity to the flavor. Deep golden in color, the 2018 Alpanae offers flavors of orange marmalade, quince paste, herbed honey, shortbread cookie, tropical flowers and vanilla extract. An absolute treat on its own or paired with blue veined cheeses and dried fruit!
