(12/4/2025) The 2024 Gamay Noir comes from several vineyards, all planted on volcanic soils. Matured for 11 months in used oak and amphorae, the nose is bursting with scents of blueberry, rhubarb, cracked pepper, violet and forest floor. Medium-bodied, it floods the mouth with pure, spicy flavors. It’s framed by fine, chalky tannins and fireworks of fresh acidity, and it has a long, layered finish. This is dangerously easy to drink! 326 cases were made. Drink Date: 2025 - 2030.

(8/17/2026) A youthful ruby color, the 2024 Gamay Noir Willamette Valley benefits from a touch of air to blow off a bit of reduction, though it disappears quickly, revealing boisterous ripe red fruits, fennel, savory sanguine tones, and terrific purity. Medium-bodied, it has fine tannins, refreshing acidity, and impressive balance throughout. Better on day two, but I loved it initially as well. Drink over the coming 5-7 years.

(2/23/2026) Aromas of blue and red fruit, pomegranates, strawberries and wild blueberries. Wonderful purity of fruit, with bright acidity, savory herbs and rose petals in the finish. Light- to medium-bodied. Drink now.
