(4/2024) A sparkling wine based on Monastrell is an oddity, but the 2021 Ros from Llopart showcases it beautifully. This blend of 60% Monastrell, 20% Garnacha and 20% Pinot Noir, from Subirats, Peneds, is bright cherry-red in hue. The floral, perfumed nose features cherry and herbal notes. Indulgent and chalky, it delivers a savory palate that finishes with a lasting note of waffle. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2030.

(7/3/2024) The 2021 Brut Reserva Rosé is also solid. Based on 60% Monastrell, 20% Garnatxa, and 20% Pinot Noir, it has a light salmon hue as well as a terrific perfume of savory raspberry and tart strawberries. It's nicely balanced and has a classy, supple mouthfeel and bright acidity that carries through the palate and finish.

(4/18/2023) Pale salmon-colored sparkling with aromas of cherry stones, pomegranates, cranberries and custard. Creamy and soft with gentle bubbles and a rounded, fruity finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drink now.
