What Critics Think
Decanter : 95 Points
(1/26/2026) This Willamette Valley bottling, sourced from eight different sites up and down the valley, consistently over-delivers at just over $50. It sees 12 months on the full lees in 20% new French oak, a mix of barrels and puncheons. Juicy Meyer lemon pulp and crushed early-season peaches are framed by a saline mineral latticing on the nose. The palate is lively and brisk. Freshly chopped mint leaves, and ocean-driven salinity enliven a core of smoky citrus wedge, orange oil and a herbal lemon beebalm finish. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2037.

(7/2025) The 2023 Chardonnay Willamette Valley opens with a gentle whiff of sweet spice that gives way to mineral-infused nectarine and a hint of sage as it blossoms in the glass. Rounded textures and ripe orchard fruit sweep across the palate. Saline concentration and nuances of tart citrus add form toward the close. A caking of chalky, salty concentration lingers as this tapers off remarkably fresh and full of lively tension. Drinking Window: 2026 - 2032.

A bright yellow-green hue, the 2023 Chardonnay Willamette Valley takes things to the next level. It offers a silky, rounded feel with notes of fresh pear, wet stones, lime oil, floral perfume, and hints of almond. Medium to full-bodied, it has a refreshing spine of acidity and a salty, mineral texture. There’s concentration and extract. Drink over the next 8-10 years.

(1/6/2026) Crisp, textural and aromatic, this is a fine and delicious medium-bodied wine. Aromas of flint, citrus, orchard fruit and sea salt. The flavors and textures evolve on the palate, from mouthwatering limes and grapefruit to pears and meringue. Long, zesty finish. Drink or hold.
