(3/4/2025) This gorgeous, fresh, fragrant, and aromatically seductive red blends 50% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 20% Syrah from Chiappini's certified organic vineyards. You may be surprised that this classic 'Super Tuscan' blend is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, forgoing oak aging. The result is a very approachable, easy-to-drink red that will accompany a diverse range of meals ranging from pizza, pasta, roasted chicken, grilled sausages, or even fresh seafood with tomato-based sauce. Giovanni was one of the first to plant vines in Bolgheri in the late 1970s, and while his next-door neighbors include the likes of Ornellaia and Sassicaia, his high-quality wines completely over-deliver for a fraction of the price.
