(1/2024) As soon as we sipped this stellar sparkling from Hungary's Kiralyudvar (pronounced kee-RYE-oohd-var), we knew we had to get it into the glasses of our Vin Chicago customers! A single-vineyard blend mostly of biodynamically farmed furmint with some harslevelu, this methode champenoise wine strikes a beautiful balance between ripe fruit and firm acidity. With air, the nose reveals apple, orange blossom, orchard fruit, and a faint hint of honey, wrapped in the toasty notes of a brut Champagne.
