(9/2024) Always released when entering their drinking window, Wendy Wilson's wines from Le Soula are exceptional expressions of the hot, dry, high-altitude Cotes Catalanes. This blend of 54% Rolle (the local name for Vermentino), 22% Sauvignon Blanc, 14% Grenache Blanc, 6% Marsanne and Roussanne, and 4% Macabeu is refreshing and refined. Notes of orchard fruits, wild herbs, and candied ginger waft from the glass of this deeply textural and mineral wine.
