(4/2024) The 2020 Red Blend Honoro Vera combines Monastrell, Syrah and Garnacha from Jumilla. Aged for four months in barrel, it delivers notes of white pepper and black fruit, with a heavy dose of oak. Indulgent and grippy, it finishes with a balsamic whiff. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2030.

(1/18/2024) The 2022 Honoro Vera Red Blend was produced with 55% Monastrell, 30% Syrah and 15% Garnacha from their organic vineyards. It's harmonious and serious and has good ripeness with 14.5% alcohol and very good balance. It's grapey and has notes of beeswax and honey that I find in many of the young red wines. Drink Date: 2023 - 2026.
