(6/2026) The 2023 Chablis Côteau de Rosette, matured in used barrels and then in 25-hectolitre foudres, has a distinctive bouquet with scents of melted candle wax, pineapple, blackened banana skin and a touch of kumquat. It is almost Aligoté in style! The palate is very harmonious on the entry, with a perfect line of acidity, a little waxy in texture, with a touch of pepperiness towards the tender finish. This fulfils the high potential it showed from barrel and comes highly recommended.
