Winemaker's Notes

The 2023 Block Nine Cabernet Sauvignon exhibit aromas that gush of warm plum and blackberry fruit flavors. This wine is well built up front with flavors of black currant fruit, cassis and hints of sweet spice. It shows good energy as licorice and apple wood accents complete its complex finish. The 2023 growing season was generous is length and consistent temperatures. Flavors were strong at harvest and we think 2023 will prove to be a terrific vintage. 100% French oak aged.
