(4/2023) The 2018 Fidelis is darkly floral in the glass with a bouquet that mixes crushed violets with plum and licorice. This washes across the palate, sleek and racy in style, with crisp wildberry fruits accelerated by juicy acidity. Sweet lavender and black cherry traces stick around as the 2018 finishes lightly structured and potent. While already drinking beautifully today, the Fidelis will excel through medium-term cellaring.
