(12/2024) Dave Caparone was the first winemaker to plant Aglianico in the United States, and his passion for this Italian varietal consistently yields delicious wines at excellent value. The house style of extended barrel and bottle aging - 2020 is the current release - has softened the typically robust tannins of this grape. In the glass, you'll find beautiful deep dark plum notes, leather, forest floor, and dark chocolate.
