(10/29/2024) The classic 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape from this estate is based on equal parts Grenache and Syrah that was raised in an even split of old and new barrels. Sweet red and black fruits, peppery herbs, violets, and Provençal notes all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, beautiful tannins, and a great finish. It's a great entry level cuvée that gives a real sense of the vintage.
